Where do you photograph?

Our base is in Figueira da Foz, and we photograph regularly in Coimbra, Aveiro, Leiria, Lousã, Cantanhede, Montemor-o-Velho, Santarém, and Porto. For couples who live abroad and travel back to Portugal to get married, we travel anywhere in the country.

Do you offer video?

No. We focus exclusively on wedding photography, to guarantee the level of attention and care our work demands. For video, we have trusted professionals we recommend with confidence, photographers we have worked with many times and whose work we know well.

What is your photographic style?

Our approach is documentary. Relaxed, light, and fresh. We try to capture each moment in a creative, unique, and authentic way, without direction, without prepared poses, without interrupting your day. Our documentary work has been recognised by five international associations over more than a decade.

How long does delivery take?

FAQS - The Lovellers: Fotografia de Casamento & Família

Final delivery is between sixty and ninety days after the wedding. In the first weeks we send a sneak preview with some of the strongest images of the day, so that family and friends can see while they wait for the rest. The full edited gallery arrives in a private online gallery, ready to download, share, and print.

How many photographs will you deliver?

There is no fixed number. It depends on the duration of the day, the number of guests, and the diversity of moments. As a reference, most couples receive between seven hundred and nine hundred final photographs, all individually edited, with no artificial cuts to fill packages.

How do you deliver the photographs?

In a private online gallery, in JPEG format, at maximum resolution and without watermark. Accessible from anywhere in the world, easy to download, share with family and friends, or print as you wish. For couples who want physical memories, we also produce custom printed albums.

Do you take more than one wedding per day?

No. We reserve one wedding per day, without exception. It is the only way to guarantee that your day receives the attention and energy it deserves, from beginning to end, without divided commitments.

How far in advance should we contact you?

For weddings between May and September, we recommend reaching out twelve to eighteen months in advance. Summer dates at sought-after venues close a year ahead or more. For weddings outside the high season, six to nine months is usually enough.

Do you offer pre-wedding sessions?

Yes. Pre-wedding sessions are a natural way to get to know each other before the big day, for you to get comfortable in front of the camera, and for us to take real photographs of you both. Useful for save-the-dates or wedding decoration. They last about an hour, in late afternoon, in a place that means something to you.

Do you produce printed albums?

Yes. Printed albums are one of the most beautiful ways to keep your wedding in physical form. We work with European suppliers, with various cover options in wood, linen, velvet, or microfibre, designed to last for decades and pass on to children and grandchildren.

How much does a wedding photographer cost?

Homepage - The Lovellers: Fotografia de Casamento & Família

The investment varies depending on coverage duration, included extras (pre-wedding session, albums, additional prints), and travel to the location. We work with clear packages and no hidden extras. To receive a personalised proposal with your date and venue, send us a message and we reply within 24 to 48 hours.

Do you photograph family sessions after the wedding?

Yes. Many of the couples we photograph come back later for family sessions, christenings, or to mark important milestones of growth in their children. The relationship that begins at the wedding continues over the years, and it is one of the parts of our work we love most.

How does the wedding day work with you?

We arrive early to the preparations and follow the entire day until the end of the party. We work with discretion, without directing, without interrupting, without asking for poses. Always attentive to the gestures and spontaneous moments that will happen between you, your family, and your friends. The truest photographs happen when everyone forgets we are there.

Do you cover religious and civil ceremonies?

Yes. We photograph Catholic, civil, symbolic, and other religious ceremonies, in churches, chapels, quintas, castles, beaches, or at home. For international couples marrying in Portugal, we are familiar with the formats most chosen, including symbolic ceremonies before a separate civil registration. The ceremony format defines the rhythm of the day, but does not change how we work.
